Step 1Bring pot of water to a boil, add rice, turn heat down to medium-low heat and cook slowly for 7 minutes (rice brand
may affect cook time).Step 2Strain the rice from the water and return to the pot. Add the Milk, Cream, Sugar and vanilla bean and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, turn the heat down to arrive at a low simmer.Step 3Cook for approximately 1 hour (or until done), stirring very often to keep from sticking.Step 4Once cooked, cool completely.
