Knafe with Goat Cheese


Serves 4

250 Grams Kadayif Hairs
100 Grams Butter
150 Grams of Goat Cheese – Semi-Hard
Half Cup Date Syrup
2 Lemons
4 leaves Geranium Leaves
Half Cup Water


Step 1 Melt half the butter in a frying pan. Lay a dense layer of the Kadayif Hairs half a centimeter in height. Sprinkle the goat cheese on the Kadayif and cover with 2 centimeters of Kadayif Hairs. This is the Knafe base. Melt the rest of the butter
and pour over on the Knafe.
Step 2 Warm a pan on a low heat and fry the Knafe for 5 minute until golden. Flip the Knafe and make the other side golden. Step 3 Cook in a pan with the date syrup, lemon, geranium leaves and water. After 15 minutes, pour over the Knafe and serve.
